Sumter Theatre Workshop proudly presents "Always... Patsy Cine".
Hailed as a “song-filled valentine,” this show is more than just a tribute to a beloved country/pop superstar. It also tells the true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louis Seger, who befriended Patsy at a honky-tonk in 1961and became her pen pal until a tragic plane crash took her life at age 30. The show’s title was inspired by Cline’s letters to Seger, which were consistently signed “Love ALWAYS…Patsy Cline.”
Curtain Time will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Monday, June 3rd, 4th and 6th. There will also be a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm on June 5th.
Tickets will be available at the UWA Theatre Box Office (Livingston, AL) prior to each performance and the “house” will open a half hour before curtain time. Seats are not reserved for this show, so patrons will select their own seats on a first-come-first-served basis.
