THE-117: Public Speaking and Presenting (Fall 2023)

  • Agnes Scott College (map)

This course’s objective is to acquaint the student with the art and practice of public speaking and presenting.  This is accomplished through an in-depth analysis of the planning, research, outlining, communication skills, rehearsal, improv, and performance processes.  Students will apply knowledge from readings, lectures, discussions, and exercises to hypothetical “real-world” examples of public speaking challenges in a controlled classroom environment.
